| Customer Reviews: Average Rating: Rating : - not accurate at all I bought this scale hoping to replace the $10 crummy one that I've struggled with all through my weight-loss because I wanted a more accurate scale and unfortunately this one is just as inaccurate and is a little harder to use. Another very similar model got great reviews, and I feel a little like I was suckered into purchasing this one due to the look.
Pros: It's very pretty, and the display is nice and big. And it sort of does it's job, at least it's not like 20 pounds off. For the aesthetic and mediocre accuracy it gets 2 stars.
Cons: Despite the fact it displays your weight in 10th increments, just this morning it told me I weighed from 180.7 to 189.3, within the span of 10 minutes, 5 weighings, and me trying to step in the same place consistently. I don't consider an 8.6 pound spread remotely accurate enough for my purposes, which is integration once or twice a week into a weight loss regime.
The body fat analysis is hard to use as well - I still haven't figured out how to add people or how to push those wee little buttons with my toes. :)
Also, as one reviewer mentioned the tapping part is a little irritating, and I find that you don't have a great deal of time to get settled on the scale before it pops out a reading. I guess this wouldn't be a big deal if I didn't feel like moving a centimeter changed the reading by 2 or 3 pounds. It gets minus two stars for not being accurate, even in 1 pound increments, and minus another for being hard to use. + See Full Customer Review | |
