Rating : - Beautifully made gadget - but doesn't work for me
Like some other reviewers, I was tired of the battery powered trimmers that consume batteries at a rapid rate, and then break after a just a couple of months. So, when I came across this trimmer with such good reviews, I thought I would try it. The machine is beautifully made - solid stainless steel, hefty feel, quality finish. It has the added advantage of not being battery operated. But unfortunately, it is not doing the job for me. I can't get it to cut hairs shorter than about 1/8" - these hairs are still visible. My previous battery-operated trimmer would cut the hairs almost down to the skin. And on the longer hairs there is just too much uncomfortable (sometimes painful) tugging and pulling. Maybe it's my poor technique. Or maybe my nose hairs are super strong and wiry. Whatever the reason, I'll go back to another battery-powered model.
